category 1 outlines five templates for the Ofsted based sections of a combined SEF/School Improvement Plan, with these all being dependent upon the use of supporting documents,which can be found in categories 2-6. Regardless of whether or not a school follows the SEF/SIP templates, it may find the supporting documents of value. They cover 50 important areas of a school in terms of school improvement, and are intended to be exemplars or guides which the SLT member responsible for that area can use as either a starting point when constructing a policy/plan or as a check on existing policies/plans. These are then backed up by a wide range of other related documents in categories 7-11
